Field Services is a family run business with a partnership of Paula Caunt, Richard Caunt and Jonathan Caunt that have been Towing vehicles since 1982. We have a strong fleet of fully equipped trucks suited to all vehicle break downs and vehicle recovery in Plymouth.

  

HISTORY

Established in 1982 Field Services Ltd is a family run business that is ran by 2 generations of the Caunt family. 

In 1982 whilst working full time for one of Plymouth’s largest haulage companies HTG Gardener as a fitter, Ricky Caunt bought and restored his first recovery truck.

The truck was initially stored and maintained at HTG’s premises in return for recovery of their own vehicles. Over the following couple of years Ricky added a second truck to his fleet and received enough work that he was able to leave his job to run the recovery business full time and so Field Services was born.

Field Services continued to grow from strength to strength and by 2001 Ricky’s younger son Jon had also joined them enabling them to expand the business further.

 Field services has now firmly built its reputation for outstanding customer service and reliability as a specialist recovery company within Plymouth and the South West.

We continue to work with some of Plymouth’s biggest names including Stage Coach, City Bus, Volvo truck and bus, Mann UK, Plymouth City Council.
